Community Members Make “Hope Notes”

Ozarks Food Harvest is a local non-profit food distributor that serves the low income and hungry in 39 counties across Southwestern Missouri.  For each backpack of food that they donate to a child Ozarks Food Harvest hopes to include a “Hope Note.”

These Hope Notes are positive, encouraging, and uplifting notes with pictures for them to read.  Some of the hope notes we made had a picture of ice cream cones and said, “You’re cooler than ice cream.”  Another one had a picture of a baseball and bat and said, “You’re a hit!”  We all enjoyed making these Hope Notes!
