Mothers Share Wisdom at Mother’s Day Tea

Every year the Lodge at Creekside hosts a Mother’s Day Tea. This year the tea was held in the Dining Room. As the women were eating scones and drinking tea, they were asked to share advice either given by their mothers, or wisdom they gave their own children. Some advice spoken was: “Always tell the truth,” and “Don’t do anything you would be ashamed for me to find out” was shared. The common theme seemed to be the importance of treating others with kindness. We are thankful for the mothers at Creekside, and for the kind lives they have lived.
