Benefit and Auction for a Team Member a Success

Creekside community members are so generous! We had a benefit and auction to raise support for the family of our Maintenance Supervisor Don Martin and his wife Marilyn, Marilyn was recently diagnosed with cancer.

Our community members donated baby quilts, afghans, and bird houses for our live auction! Creekside vendors were also very generous with their donation of gift cards, gift certificates to Branson Show, caps and jackets, are just a few of the items. Everyone enjoyed a BBQ lunch, a cake walk, Twinkie eating contest, pie in the face, live music. Team members and community members had the opportunity to dunk our Executive Director Mikeal Loneman, Matt Gould, Administrator at The Manor at Elfindale and Michelle Alexander, Creekside Hospitality Supervisor in the dunk tank!

The Vetter Health Foundation was gracious enough to offer a $500 match for our fundraising efforts. When the wonderful afternoon came to an end we had raised over $3000.00!

Thank you to everyone that donated items, and a special thanks to Easterly Auctioneers, Jim Manes and the members of the band who volunteered their time.
