300+1 Valentine Video Wins Contest

To enhance the Life Enrichment Program at Creekside we use a very user friendly and inviting software program called IN2L- It’s Never 2 Late!  This computer software program is available for our members to use and offers us the opportunity to play games, listen to music, travel the world, play trivia and test our memory.  This company, based in Colorado, sponsored a contest seeking videos of elders fulfilling various roles.

Submitted for this contest under the category of “Inspiring Elders”, this video was made to capture the inspiring effort of our members at Creekside.  Our inspiring effort was to make enough Valentine Day cards for each student at a local elementary school with which Creekside works.  This effort received first prize in the competition!

Creekside has partnered with a local elementary school to offer support for the students and to provide our members with purpose, peace and pleasure.  For Valentine’s Day we made “300+1” Valentine Day cards for each student at the elementary school.  It took a team effort of more than a dozen members over a ten day period to complete these cards!  Our members were very proud of their accomplishment and each student received a token of love.  Enjoy the video!
